There are two versions of Gilda Switt created by Quailhogs. The first version is a vampire sim whose complexion, hair, eyes, and wardrobe are all the same hue of gold, giving her the appearance as somebody who has turned into sulphur.
Life After UndeathEdit
The first version of this Sim lives in the Golden Chapel, included in the download for Wraith. According to her butler, Vincent Windsor, Gilda is a good person and "deep down, under her arrogance, greed, and overall toxic personality, she means well." Evidently, she became far more unpleasant since the late 19th Century. This can be attributed to the fact that she lost her husband, and immediately after, her butler, Malcolm Wadsworth, attempted to steal from her. By the time of her disappearance, Gilda was extremely unhealthy, having the appearance of somebody with jaundice and suffering from hallucinations of a succubus "behaving highly inappropriately" around her. She was presumed dead while being trapped in a cave for 22 years. When her transmuted body was recovered, she was put on display at the Wraith Museum of Art, humiliated and even more resentful. In spite of being a Puritanical prude, Gilda has a developed a good friendship with Morgana Goth, whose lifestyle is extremely promiscuous.
She could not see anything, but she could hear the voice of a bombastic woman. “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you our latest addition.” Gilda felt a sheet drop to the floor only to see the faces of numerous museum patrons stare at her in shock and awe. “A statue crafted completely out of Sulphur rock, modeled after Gilda Switt, the devout yet disgustingly selfish widow of our town’s founding father. The cameras flashed in her eyes, but she couldn’t even blink, let alone scream at the entire lot of gawking patrons. The people were practically alien to her, men with pinstripe suits and women with feathers in headbands and dresses cut appallingly short. She then noticed a familiar face in the back of the crowd. It was an ebony-skinned woman, with violet-colored eyes and flowing hair. Despite the total lack of vocal or even facial communication, Gilda and the woman came to an understanding. The lady owed Gilda a favor.
